Biography
Jan Němec (* July 12, 1936 in Prague; † March 18, 2016 in Prague) was a czech director, scriptwriter and university educator. He was 79 years old. He had 4 wives. He studied at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. His awards include Czech Medal of Merit, 2nd class, Annual award ACFK and Czech Lion Award for Unique Contribution to Czech Film. His cause of death was myocardial infarction.
