Biography of Jan Łukasiewicz

Jan Łukasiewicz (* 21. December 1878 in Lviv; † 13. February 1956 in Dublin) was a polnischer Logiker, Mathematiker, Philosoph, Rektor der Universität Warschau. He was 77 years old. His education included Lviv University and University of Warsaw. He worked at University of Warsaw and Lviv University. His awards include Commander of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Hungarian Order of Merit and Commander with Star of the Order of Polonia Restituta. He was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery.
