Biography of Janina Wengris

Janina Wengris (* 5. August 1907 in Omsk; † 13. November 1978 in Katowice) was a russian-born zoologist , entomologist .. She was 71 years old. She studied at Stephen Báthory University. She worked at University of Agriculture and Technology in Olsztyn. She received 6 awards, including Medal of the 10th Anniversary of People's Poland, Odznaka tytułu honorowego „Zasłużony Nauczyciel PRL”.
