Jean Fabre (* 13. December 1904 in Murat-sur-Vèbre; † 21. August 1975 in Murat-sur-Vèbre) was a französischer Romanist und Literaturwissenschaftler. He was 70 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure and Faculty of Arts of Paris. He worked at Faculty of Arts of Paris, University of Strasbourg, Yale University, University of Virginia, University of Warsaw, lycée du Parc and University of Paris. His awards include Knight of the Legion of Honour and honorary doctor of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. His cause of death was bee sting.
