Biography of Jean-François Revel

Jean-François Revel (* 19. January 1924 in Marseille; † 30. April 2006 in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre) was a french writer and philosopher. He was 82 years old. He was married to Yahne Le Toumelin and Claude Sarraute. His education included École Normale Supérieure, lycée du Parc and Lycée Jean-Baptiste-Say. He received 6 awards, including Officer of the Legion of Honour, Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
