
French legal historian (1919-1999)
Jean Imbert (* 23. June 1919 in Calais; † 13. November 1999 in 12th arrondissement of Paris) was a french legal historian. He was 80 years old. His education included Paris Law Faculty, École pratique des hautes études and Faculté de Droit de Toulouse. He worked at Panthéon-Assas University Paris and Université de Nancy. He received 9 awards, including Broquette-Gonin prize, Officer of the Royal Order of Cambodia.
