Biography of Jean Legras

Jean Legras (* 12. July 1914 in Soissons; † 5. January 2012 in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy) was a hydraulicist and computer scientist. He was 97 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure, University of Paris and lycée Henri-Poincaré. He worked at National Center for Scientific Research. He received 5 awards, including Knight of the French Order of Academic Palms, Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms.
