Biography of Jean Porcher

Jean Porcher (* 25. January 1892 in Paris; † 26. April 1966 in Paris) was a french historian librarian. He was 74 years old. His education included École des chartes, University of Bonn and École nationale des langues orientales vivantes. He worked at French School of Rome and Bibliothèque nationale de France. His awards include Commander of the French Order of Academic Palms, Commander of the Legion of Honour and Croix de guerre 1914–1918. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
