Biography of Jewgeni Jakowlewitsch Remes

Jewgeni Jakowlewitsch Remes (* 17. February 1896 in Mscislaŭ; † 31. August 1975 in Kyiv) was a sowjetischer Mathematiker. He was 79 years old. He studied at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He worked at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Kyiv Mining and Geology Institute. He was buried at Baikove Cemetery.
