Biography of Joël Schmidt

Joël Schmidt (* 31. January 1937 in 16th arrondissement of Paris; † 22. January 2026 in 6th arrondissement of Paris) was a french novelist, historian and editor. He was 88 years old. His education included École alsacienne, Lycée Lakanal, Lycée Louis-le-Grand, University of Paris and Lycée Montaigne. He received 6 awards, including Broquette-Gonin prize, Prix d'Académie.
