Biography of Johann Fück

Johann Fück (* 8. July 1894 in Frankfurt; † 24. November 1974 in Halle (Saale)) was a deutscher Orientalist. He was 80 years old. His education included Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and Goethe University Frankfurt. He worked at Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Dhaka and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He was awarded the National Prize of East Germany.
