Biography of John H. Hester

John H. Hester (* 11. September 1886 in Albany; † 11. February 1976 in Atlanta) was a major general in the United States Army. He was 89 years old. His education included United States Military Academy, University of Georgia, United States Army Command and General Staff College and United States Army War College. He was awarded the Legion of Merit. He was buried at Arlington Memorial Park.
