John H. Long (* 8. April 1916 in Carthage; † 1. May 2008) was an american literary scholar. He was 92 years old. His education included University of Florida and Georgetown University. He worked at Morehead State University and Greensboro College. He was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
