Biography of John Henry Pratt

John Henry Pratt (* 4. June 1809 in London; † 28. December 1871 in Ghazipur) was a britischer Mathematiker. He was 62 years old. His education included Gonville and Caius College, Oakham School, Sidney Sussex College and Christ's College. He worked at East India Company and Diocese of Calcutta (Church of North India). His faith was Anglicanism. He was awarded the Fellow of the Royal Society. His cause of death was cholera. He was buried at St. Paul's Cathedral.
