Biography of John Laver

John Laver (* 20. January 1938 in Naushara; † 6. May 2020 in Edinburgh) was a british phonetician. He was 82 years old. He studied at University of Edinburgh. He worked at University of Edinburgh and Queen Margaret University. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Fellow of the British Academy and Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
