John le Carré (* October 19, 1931 in Poole; † December 12, 2020 in Royal Cornwall Hospital) was a british novelist and spy. He was 89 years old. He was married to Ann Sharp and Jane Cornwell. His education included Lincoln College, Sherborne School, University of Bern and St Andrew's School, Pangbourne. He received 10 awards, including James Tait Black Memorial Prize, The Grand Master. His cause of death was pneumonia.
