Biography of John Obadiah Westwood

John Obadiah Westwood (* 22. December 1805 in Sheffield; † 2. January 1893 in Oxford) was an englischer Entomologe, Archäologe und Illustrator. He was 87 years old. He studied at University of Oxford. He worked at Magdalen College and University of Oxford. His awards include Royal Medal, Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society and Fellow of the Linnean Society of London. He was buried at St Sepulchre's Cemetery.
