John Rennie d.Ä. (* 7. June 1761 in East Lothian; † 4. October 1821 in London) was a berühmter schottischer Bauingenieur. He was 60 years old. He had at least 4 children (3 sons and 1 daughter). He studied at University of Edinburgh. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Scottish Engineering Hall of Fame. He was buried at St Paul's Cathedral.
