Biography
John Schlesinger (* February 16, 1926 in London; † July 25, 2003 in Palm Springs) was an english film and stage director. He was 77 years old. His education included Balliol College, St Edmund's School and Uppingham School. He received 7 awards, including Directors Guild of America Award, Academy Award for Best Director. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Willesden Jewish Cemetery.
