John Williams (* 24. February 1893; † 16. March 1939) was an american professor of English. He was 46 years old. His education included Oriel College, Dixon High School, University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and Harvard University. He worked at Boston University, Amherst College and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship.
