Biography of Jon Barwise

Jon Barwise (* 29. June 1942 in Independence; † 5. March 2000 in Bloomington) was an uS-amerikanischer Logiker. He was 57 years old. He studied at Stanford University. He worked at University of Wisconsin–Madison, Yale University, Stanford University, Indiana University and Stanford University Philosophy Department. His awards include Gödel Lecturer and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. His cause of death was colorectal cancer.
