Biography of José de San Martín

José de San Martín (* 25. February 1778 in Yapeyú; † 17. August 1850 in Boulogne-sur-Mer) was a südamerikanischer Revolutionär. He was 72 years old. He was married to María de los Remedios de Escalada. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). He studied at Royal Seminary of Nobles of Madrid. His awards include Order of the Sun of Peru and honorary doctorate of the National University of San Marcos. He was buried at Buenos Aires Cathedral.
