José Ramón de Luanco Riego (* 14. November 1825 in Castropol; † 5. April 1905 in Castropol) was a spanish academician, chemist and university professor. He was 79 years old. He worked at University of Seville, University of Santiago de Compostela, Universidad Central, University of Zaragoza, University of Oviedo and University of Barcelona. His awards include Commander of the Order of Isabella the Catholic and Officer of the Legion of Honour.
