Biography of Josef Fried

Josef Fried (* 21. July 1914 in Przemyśl; † 17. August 2001 in Chicago) was a polish-born American chemist. He was 87 years old. His education included Columbia University, University of Zurich and Leipzig University. He worked at University of Chicago. He was awarded the Alfred Burger Award.
