Biography of Joseph Émile Barbier

Joseph Émile Barbier (* 18. March 1839 in Saint-Hilaire-Cottes; † 28. January 1889 in Saint-Genest-Lerpt) was a französischer Mathematiker und Astronom. He was 49 years old. His education included École Normale Supérieure, Lycée Henri-IV and Colleges of St Omer, Bruges and Liège. He worked at Paris Observatory, PSL University, French Academy of Sciences and Lycée Masséna.
