Biography of Joseph Hunter Guthrie

Joseph Hunter Guthrie (* 8. January 1901 in New York City; † 11. November 1974 in Novitiate of St. Isaac Jogues) was an amerikanischer Jesuitenphilosoph. He was 73 years old. His education included Fordham Preparatory School, Woodstock College, University of Paris, St. Andrew-on-Hudson, Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, Drongen Abbey and Catholic University of Leuven. He worked at Fordham University, Saint Joseph's University and Ateneo de Manila University. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Order of Civil Merit, National Order of Honour and Merit and Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X the Wise. He was buried at Georgetown University Jesuit Community Cemetery.
