Biography of Joseph L. Doob

Joseph L. Doob (* 27. February 1910 in Cincinnati; † 7. June 2004 in Urbana) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker. He was 94 years old. His education included Harvard University and Ethical Culture Fieldston School. He worked at University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and Columbia University. His awards include National Medal of Science, Leroy P. Steele Prize and Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
