Biography of Joseph LeConte

Joseph LeConte (* 26. February 1823 in Liberty County; † 6. July 1901 in Yosemite Valley) was an amerikanischer Geologe und Naturforscher. He was 78 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Harvard University and University of Georgia. He worked at University of South Carolina, University of California, Berkeley, University of Georgia and Oglethorpe University. He was buried at Mountain View Cemetery.
