Biography of Joseph Mélèze-Modrzejewski

Joseph Mélèze-Modrzejewski (* 8. March 1930 in Lublin; † 30. January 2017 in Châtenay-Malabry) was a französischer Historiker. He was 86 years old. His education included École pratique des hautes études, Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw and University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. He worked at Université libre de Bruxelles, University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, École pratique des hautes études and National Center for Scientific Research. He received 5 awards, including Member of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, Bordin Prize.
