Jozef Tomko (* 11. March 1924 in Udavské; † 8. August 2022 in Rome) was a slovak cardinal and Roman Catholic archbishop. He was 98 years old. His education included Pontifical Gregorian University, Pontifical Lateran University and Pavol Horov Gymnasium. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 5 awards, including Grand Cross of the Order of the White Double Cross, honorary doctorate of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. He was buried at Cathedral of St. Elizabeth.
