Biography of Julius Schaxel

Julius Schaxel (* 24. March 1887 in Augsburg; † 15. July 1943 in Moscow) was a deutscher Zoologe und Entwicklungsbiologe. He was 56 years old. He studied at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. He worked at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and S.I. Vavilov Institute for the History of Natural Science and Technology. His cause of death was conflagration.
