Biography of Juri Grigorjewitsch Reschetnjak

Juri Grigorjewitsch Reschetnjak (* 26. September 1929 in Saint Petersburg; † 17. December 2021) was a sowjetischer Mathematiker. He was 92 years old. His education included Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty, St. Petersburg State University and Saint Petersburg State University. He worked at Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS. His awards include Order of the Badge of Honour, Lobachevsky Prize and Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class without swords.
