His education included Russian Institute of Theatre Arts and Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. His awards include Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 1st class and Order of the Badge of Honour. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
