Juri Petrowitsch Smirnow (* 23. August 1938 in Սարխորն (գյուղ, Չեբոկսարսկի շրջան); † 18. September 2010 in Cheboksary) was a russian scientist. He was 72 years old. He studied at Chuvash State University. He worked at Chuvash State University. His awards include Medal "Veteran of Labour" and Jubilee Medal "In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin".
