Biography of K. Chandrasekharan

K. Chandrasekharan (* 21. November 1920 in Machilipatnam; † 13. April 2017 in Zurich) was an indischer Mathematiker und Professor an der ETH Zürich. He was 96 years old. His education included University of Madras and Presidency College. He worked at ETH Zurich. He received 4 awards, including Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, Padma Shri in literature and education. His cause of death was pneumonia.
