Kanō Jigorō (* 10. December 1860 in Kobe; † 4. May 1938 in at sea) was a begründer der Kampfkunst Jūdō. He was 77 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He worked at Fifth High School, Tokyo Higher Normal School, Gakushūin, Toyo University, First Higher School, Kobun Institute and Kōdōkan.
