Biography of Karen Yuzbashyan

Karen Yuzbashyan (* 6. January 1927 in Tbilisi; † 5. March 2009 in Saint Petersburg) was a soviet-Armenian historian. He was 82 years old. His education included Yerevan State University and Saint Petersburg State Institute of History. He worked at Matenadaran, Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Faculty of Oriental Studies of the St. Petersburg University. He was buried at Smolensk Armenian cemetery.
