Karl Bühler (* 27. May 1879 in Meckesheim; † 24. October 1963 in Los Angeles) was a deutscher Denk- und Sprachpsychologe und Sprachtheoretiker. He was 84 years old. He was married to Charlotte Bühler. His education included University of Freiburg and University of Strasbourg. He worked at University of Vienna, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, TUD Dresden University of Technology, University of Minnesota and University of Southern California. His awards include Wilhelm Wundt Medal and Prize of the City of Vienna for the Humanities.
