Karl Landsteiner (* 14. June 1868 in Baden; † 26. June 1943 in New York City) was a österreichischer Pathologe, Serologe und Nobelpreisträger. He was 75 years old. He was married to Leopoldine Helene Wlasto. His education included University of Vienna and University of Geneva. He worked at University of Vienna, University of Geneva and The Rockefeller University. His faith was Catholicism. He received 5 awards, including Aronson Prize, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
