Karl Lehmann (* 16. May 1936 in Sigmaringen; † 11. March 2018 in Mainz) was a german theologian, Bishop of Mainz, catholic Cardinal. He was 81 years old. His education included Pontifical Gregorian University, University of Freiburg and Collegium Germanicum et Hungaricum. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 10 awards, including Commander of the Legion of Honour, Order of Merit of Rhineland-Palatinate. His cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried at Mainz Cathedral.
