Karol Modzelewski (* 23. November 1937 in Moscow; † 28. April 2019 in Warsaw) was a polnischer Historiker und Politiker. He was 81 years old. His education included University of Warsaw and XIV High School of Stanislaw Staszic in Warsaw. He worked at University of Wrocław, University of Warsaw, Institute of Archeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Sciences, Wyższa Szkoła Komunikowania i Mediów Społecznych im. Jerzego Giedroycia and Polish Academy of Sciences. He received 10 awards, including Order of the White Eagle, Prize of the Foundation for Polish Science. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
