Biography of Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna

Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna (* 6. August 1892 in Vilnius; † 16. February 1983 in Poznań) was a polnische Lyrikerin und Übersetzerin. She was 90 years old. Her education included University of Oxford and Jagiellonian University. She received 6 awards, including Golden Laurel of the Polish Academy of Literature, Decade of Independence Regained. She was buried at Powązki Cemetery.
