Biography
Kenan Evren (* July 17, 1917 in Kula; † May 9, 2015 in Ankara) was a president of Turkey. He was 97 years old. He was married to Sekine Evren. He had 3 children. His education included Maltepe Military High School, Turkish Military Academy, School of Artillery and Missiles, Army War Institute and Balıkesir Lisesi. He was awarded the Gold Olympic Order. His cause of death was organ dysfunction. He was buried at Turkish State Cemetery.
