Kir Bulychev (* 18. October 1934 in Moscow; † 5. September 2003 in Moscow) was a soviet Russian science fiction writer and historian. He was 68 years old. He was married to Kira Soshinskaya. He studied at Moscow State Linguistic University. He received 5 awards, including USSR State Prize, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 4th class. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Miusskaya Cemetery.
