Kōichi Iijima (* 25. February 1930 in Okayama; † 14. October 2013 in Tokyo) was a japanese linguist, novelist and poet. He was 83 years old. He studied at University of Tokyo. He worked at Kokugakuin University and Meiji University. His awards include Bunkamura Les Deux Magots Literature Award and Modern Poetry Prize.
