Biography of Konstantin Ustinowitsch Tschernenko

Konstantin Ustinowitsch Tschernenko (* 11. September 1911 in Bolshaya Tes; † 10. March 1985 in Moscow) was a sowjetischer Politiker, Generalsekretär der KPdSU (1984 -1985). He was 73 years old. He was married to Anna Chernenko. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University and Higher Party School at the Central Committee of the CPSU. His faith was atheism. He received 9 awards, including USSR State Prize, Order of Lenin. His cause of death was pulmonary emphysema. He was buried at Kremlin Wall Necropolis.
