Costas Simitis (* June 23, 1936 in Piraeus; † January 5, 2025 in Corinth General Hospital) was a greek jurist, economist, academic and politician. He was 88 years old. He was married to Daphni Simitis. He had 2 children. His education included University of Marburg and London School of Economics and Political Science. His faith was Eastern Orthodoxy. His awards include Order of the White Star, 1st Class and Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. He was buried at First Cemetery of Athens.
