Biography of Kurt Gottfried

Kurt Gottfried (* 1. January 1929 in Vienna; † 25. August 2022 in Ithaca) was an uS-amerikanischer Physiker. He was 93 years old. His education included Massachusetts Institute of Technology and McGill University. He worked at Cornell University, Harvard University, University of Copenhagen Niels Bohr Institute and CERN. He received 5 awards, including AAAS Award for Scientific Freedom and Responsibility, Leo Szilard Lectureship Award.
