Biography of Kurt Hessenberg

Kurt Hessenberg (* 17. August 1908 in Frankfurt; † 17. June 1994 in Frankfurt) was a deutscher Komponist und Musikpädagoge. He was 85 years old. His education included University of Music and Theatre Leipzig and Hoch Conservatory. He worked at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. His awards include Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Goethe Plaque of the City of Frankfurt and Goethe-Plakette des Landes Hessen. He was buried at Frankfurt Main Cemetery.
