Biography of Kurt Reidemeister

Kurt Reidemeister (* 13. October 1893 in Brunswick; † 8. July 1971 in Göttingen) was a deutscher Mathematiker, Topologie und Knotentheorie. He was 77 years old. His education included University of Hamburg, University of Freiburg, University of Marburg and University of Göttingen. He worked at University of Göttingen, Imperial German Army, University of Vienna, University of Königsberg, University of Marburg and Institute for Advanced Study.
